The title says it all. My favorite 2D game is Minesweeper.
Also known as Rocketalypse.

Minesweeper? Like, the game that comes standard with Windows XP? Yes.. that is a fantastic game. I have played a lot of 2D games in my time, but I would have to say that my favorite is Braid. The mechanics and story are brilliant.

There are so many games to choose from, Sonic, Contra, Metal Slug, Mario, Advance Wars, Chrono Trigger, etc!
