NEED HELP: LOCAL DATABASE

I am trying to create an application, but i need a database for it, the database will be stored with the application. I am not able to find any help in this matter, if some one could help me out, it can be sql or MS-Access database.. Someone help me out...

I've heard that MS Access is good for this sort of thing, but have no idea how to use it D:. Ill try to learn though!
