  MySQL Help
Posted by: -Kid- - 02-15-2012, 09:51 AM - Forum: Programming Help - Replies (6)

OK, so here is what I would like to do.

I want to link my application, with my VBulletin forum. But I want to make it so only certain groups can see certain content on my application.

For example: A registered user on my forum can't see certain content on my application, but a premium member on my forum can see that content.

  My Project Archive
Posted by: brandonio21 - 02-07-2012, 09:23 PM - Forum: Computing - No Replies

Hello everyone on BP Forums,
I have recently completed (for the most part) constructing my very own project archive. It is simply a sub-page of my blog where almost every single piece of notable software that I have created can be downloaded. Please check it out and share your thoughts!

  WaitN Internet Explorer Automation
Posted by: brandonio21 - 01-29-2012, 10:39 PM - Forum: VB.NET (Visual Basic 2010/2008) - Replies (2)

I actually use this dll in TwitControl, so I thought some of you guys might find it useful. It is called WaitN.

Basically, it allows you to open up an IE window and automate it (For example, do a google search, etc) and it is a whole lot less confusing than hard-coding a webbrowser control to do the same thing.

Here it is: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://watin.org/">http://watin.org/</a><!-- m -->

  WYSIWYG Editing Component Works!
Posted by: vbcodegeek - 01-29-2012, 08:08 AM - Forum: VB.NET (Visual Basic 2010/2008) - Replies (4)

I have been busy with a lot of things. One of witch is this modified Version of GeckoFX. It supports XULRunner 10. The biggest feature this release has it the become an WYSIWYG Editor.

It works like a normal GeckoFX. You need to initalize XPCOM and all that. Once your form is setup, you need to call one line of code to get the editor working.

Code:
GeckoWebBrowser1.WebEditor.MakeWindowEditable("html", "<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title>page Title</title><body><p>this is how the page will look when editing is turend on</p></body></html>")

Download It from the link below. I hope this helps you all.

NOTE: This is only a beta version. I'm still working on features and Bugs.

  Forum blacked out in protest of SOPA and PIPA
Posted by: brandonio21 - 01-18-2012, 04:29 PM - Forum: Off-Topic - No Replies

In honor of the January 18th blackout being executed by Reddit, Google, Wikipedia, and more, I have chosen to black out the style of BP Forums in order to show our support.

SOPA and PIPA are American bills that deny the American right of free speech on the Internet, and these bills are not a good thing.

Read more about SOPA and PIPA and do something about them here:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://americancensorship.org/">http://americancensorship.org/</a><!-- m -->

I do apologize for the downtime; however, this act must be protested.
