Windows 8 Display Resolution - thunter757 - 07-27-2012 Alright, right now I am running Windows 8 on a Gateway MX7515 laptop, and when I try to change the resolution in Desktop mode, the ComboBox is faded at 1024x768 and won't let me change the resolution at all. I tried installing the VGA drivers from the Gateway site, but they are drivers for Windows XP, which is the OS that was preinstalled on the laptop. When I opened the 'Setup.exe' file, it gave me an error. I have a ATI Mobility Radeon x600 card, and me, being a neat freak, low resolition annoys the crap out of me, so help would be appreciated. If you need more information, let me know. Re: Windows 8 Display Resolution - brandonio21 - 08-04-2012 Hm, this is interesting. I could see why you are having a problem with this. I think that this guide will help you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1536711 |
