I just bought a used external hard drive and i plugged it into my computer... now everytime i plug it in the computer drive freezes. When i plug it into the main usb port(directly to the motherboard) it says its connected but doesn't show up. Its a nextar nst-350u2 by vantec. I am running on Vista sp2.
