I've been learning gimp lately and heres one of the images i've come up with.
(even though i havnt used vb in a while i think i'll use gimp to design the look of my software)

I agree, it looks great! My only complaint is that the G looks a little bit discolored in comparison with the other letters. But other than that, good work!

Yeah i think the blue i chose was too dark so i added lighting effects. It didn't reach the G but i just never got to fixing it. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->

Very nice! Looks good! The only complaint that I have is the wood - It looks like it would be more desk material than wall material. But that's probably just me.

Yeah i know. I just couldn't find a wood texture i liked and i think the legs could've been cut out a little better. But, you improve as you go <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->
