Youtube Downloader - Covert2String - 11-17-2012

Hello, I was wondering how apps like Atube catcher, etc worked so I decided to google it. The problem is everything is outdated and I'm not able to find out how youtube "protected" direct download links. Ideally some explaning would be great, i'm not looking for the exact code. Brandon to the rescue, please?

This one even Brandon cannot solve i'm sure... Youtube secured their videos for a good reason.

The only explanation you will get is that IT'S IMPOSIBLE to make a free app to download youtube videos.

Check out the link below and you will see that using YouTube Data Api it's posible to make an application that does everything exept downloading the video

Atube catcher still works, so the problem is how to find out the actual download link, it must be hidden there somewhere.

Well then ask Atube catcher developers how they did it ...
