Is there a " dumb question " here
#1
I have a friend that is coding pretty heavily in VB 6, should he branch out, and upgrade to the newer, or stick to what he knows and actually finish a program?

I Used to use Vb6, and I enjoyed it for quite some time... Until I realized that all my applications looked flat and boring. But if your fine with flat and boring, by all means stick with VB6.

However, VB.NET offers alot for functionality (VS2010)
